Heard an exec offer this compelling close today: “I think that’s all for now…” I wanted to shout, “ARE YOU SURE?“. I suppose matters were made worse by the fact that the wind-down took another 40 seconds to the actual close of the presentation. But I doubt anyone felt compelled to depart in a mode of action, or that anyone believed this was a well thought-out presentation. If all you can do to close is to think you don’t have anything else… You went too long already.
